Date: June 13–15, 2025

The Debrecziner Gourmet Festival is a vibrant celebration of gastronomy, opening its doors to lovers of fine flavors on June 13 this year. Set in the beautiful Nagyerdő park of Debrecen, the festival showcases the extraordinary culinary offerings of the country’s finest restaurants, bistros, pastry shops, and cafés—this year centered around the theme of cinematic experiences. Organized around the concept of “movie-inspired dishes,” the festival features some of Hungary’s most renowned chefs—including Zoltán Pauli, Lajos Bíró, and Ádám Mészáros—who invite visitors to taste flavors brought to life from the silver screen.

This year, Gourmet gets a fresh boost:

A new highlight is the container kitchen, an interactive venue where chefs will perform live cooking shows and offer tastings.

Adding to the culinary experience is the rotating stage concept, where several acclaimed restaurants take turns showcasing their specialties at a single venue.

A total of 23 outstanding restaurants will be featured, including the Michelin-recommended Horgonyzó Kisvendéglő, Végállomás Bistorant, Andrássy Kúria, Mák Bistro, Anyukám mondta, and Michelin-starred chef Ádám Mészáros.

Special attention will be given to guests with food sensitivities and families with children, ensuring a complete gastronomic experience for everyone.
